I believe this board is the same in a Advent Hios That way, if someone comes on with an identical problem, they can look it up.

Could this be also a problem with the BIOS? So we flash the firmware using the programmer - W04AC Acer Aspire g dead no power - no lights vreg refer to S zone. 009285-1m

I have a question: Just had an idea occur to me reading through this thread. Before you rush into soldering the chip out and flashing it with the programmer you have to make sure that the problem is in the BIOS.
